[DGX Spark] DGX Spark and GX10 prices in Taiwan: up 80% in a year, flat since August

❯ cat --toc

TL;DR

An ASUS Ascent GX10 with a 1TB SSD cost NT$97,900 at Coolpc, a big Taipei PC retailer, on 2025-11-01. On 2026-11-04 it is NT$175,900, up about 80%. The other GB10 boxes I tracked rose 47% to 76%. Most of the GX10 rise came in two jumps, late April and mid-June to early July, and nothing that stayed listed has gone up since the August 18 snapshot. NVIDIA blamed memory shortages when it raised the US DGX Spark price in February. Cheapest today: a reseller GX10 1TB at NT$166,900, or a DGX Spark 4TB at NT$199,500. Caveat: the history comes from one store's Wayback snapshots.

Cover for the GB10 price history in Taiwan: the ASUS GX10 1TB went from NT$97,900 to NT$175,900 in one year

Preface

If you are pricing a GB10 box in Taiwan, the number you find in a forum thread or an unboxing post is probably wrong. Coolpc's own unboxing post still shows NT$99,900 to NT$139,900. That is January 2026 pricing.

Most of this series is benchmarks on the two GX10s on my desk. This one is about what the box costs now, how it got there, and where to buy it for less. I pulled 25 Wayback Machine snapshots of Coolpc's quote page, from November 2025 to the end of October 2026, and checked the other stores against it.

What a GB10 box costs in Taiwan in November 2026

Every box here uses the same GB10 chip with 128GB of unified memory. They differ by brand, SSD size, and whether the SSD is Gen4 or Gen5. Nothing else in this comparison changes what model you can run.

Coolpc prices on 2026-11-04, same as on 11-01. Read the 1TB rows against each other, then the 4TB rows:

BoxSSDCoolpc, NT$
ASUS Ascent GX10Gen4 1TB175,900
MSI EdgeXpertGen4 1TB169,000
NVIDIA DGX SparkGen4 4TB199,500
MSI EdgeXpertGen5 4TB209,900
ASUS Ascent GX10Gen5 4TB245,900

Coolpc also lists the Acer ALTOS BrainSphere 4TB at NT$210,000 and the Gigabyte AI TOP ATOM G4 at NT$219,000 (2TB) and NT$239,000 (4TB).

The big Taiwanese online stores, PChome, momo, Yahoo, EcLife and Rainbow 3C, all sit at NT$175,900 for the GX10 1TB. For the 4TB, Yahoo and EcLife are at NT$245,900 and momo is NT$245,000. Shopping around between them gets you almost nothing.

GB10 prices rose 47% to 80% in a year, mostly in two jumps

Coolpc prices a year ago vs. today:

BoxThen, NT$Now, NT$Change
ASUS GX10 1TB97,900175,900+80%
MSI EdgeXpert 1TB97,900169,000+73%
ASUS GX10 4TB (first seen Jan 2026)139,900245,900+76%
MSI EdgeXpert 4TB134,505209,900+56%
NVIDIA DGX Spark 4TB135,345199,500+47%

The two 4TB "then" prices are for Gen4 SSD versions; both are Gen5 today. The GX10 4TB switched to Gen5 between the March 25 and April 16 snapshots without a price change; it stayed at NT$142,900. The MSI 4TB switched between January 7 and February 17 and went up NT$4,000 (145,900 to 149,900) when it did. So the big jumps after that are price increases on the same Gen5 spec, not a spec change.

Line chart of GB10 mini PC prices at Coolpc in Taiwan from November 2025 to November 2026: ASUS GX10 4TB rising from 139,900 to 245,900, NVIDIA DGX Spark 4TB to 199,500, ASUS GX10 1TB to 175,900 and MSI EdgeXpert 1TB to 169,000, with no increases since mid-August
Coolpc prices from 25 Wayback snapshots. The GX10 1TB line has two steep steps, late April and mid-June to early July, and every line is flat from mid-August on.

The GX10 1TB did not climb steadily. It went from NT$102,900 to NT$125,900 between the April 16 and April 28 snapshots, then from NT$125,900 to NT$175,900 between June 12 and July 8. Those two jumps are NT$73,000 of the NT$78,000 rise for the whole year. It has not moved since July 8.

The DGX Spark 4TB rose in three steps instead: NT$144,900 by March 7, NT$164,850 by March 25, and NT$199,500 somewhere between July 31 and August 18.

Why did it happen? The snapshots show when, not why. In the US, NVIDIA raised the DGX Spark Founders Edition from $3,999 to $4,699 in February 2026 and cited memory shortages. Taiwan's increases were much larger than that.

Is it still going up? Nothing that stayed listed has risen since the August 18 snapshot. The only drop among the five boxes I tracked is the MSI EdgeXpert 1TB, from NT$169,900 to NT$169,000 in October.

Cheapest GB10 in Taiwan: a reseller GX10 or MSI for 1TB, the DGX Spark for 4TB

Savings are against the same-size ASUS GX10 at the big stores. Look at the last column to see what the discount costs you:

OptionNT$SavesTrade-off
GX10 1TB from iOPEN (reseller, via Feebee 11-01)166,9009,000Smaller reseller
MSI EdgeXpert 1TB169,0006,900None, both are Gen4 1TB; brand only
NVIDIA DGX Spark 4TB (Coolpc)199,50046,400Gen4 SSD instead of Gen5
MSI EdgeXpert 4TB209,90036,000None on SSD, also Gen5

Feebee is a Taiwanese price-comparison site. It turns up a long tail beyond the iOPEN listing: friDay at NT$171,593, a Shopee private seller at NT$174,000, and the DGX Spark at Coupang for NT$192,000 to NT$197,500 and at iOPEN for NT$194,888, a few thousand under Coolpc. Feebee data can lag by hours to days, so treat those as leads. Before you pay a smaller reseller, confirm it is in stock and ask who handles the warranty.

For 4TB, the DGX Spark is the obvious buy unless you need a Gen5 SSD.

Don't wait for the 64GB DGX Spark at current pricing

A 64GB version went on sale in the US on October 23. It starts at $4,999, it is sold only through partners (Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, MSI), and there is no Founders Edition. HotHardware has the details. The 128GB version moved to about $6,950 at the same time, by most reports; HotHardware says $6,995.

Compare that with the launch price. $4,999 for 64GB is $1,000 more than the 128GB version cost at launch, and you get half the memory. Coolpc listed zero 64GB units on 2026-11-04, so there is no Taiwan price to compare yet.

Memory is the whole point of these boxes. Every number in my 8-model GB10 benchmark was measured on 128GB. Buy the 128GB box.

RTX Spark vs DGX Spark: more bandwidth, no ConnectX, and I'd still pick GB10

RTX Spark (N1X) is NVIDIA's chip for Windows on Arm laptops and desktops. Laptops from Microsoft, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI and ASUS launched the week of 2026-10-16. x86 apps run through Microsoft's Prism emulator. GB10 boxes run Linux (DGX OS).

On paper RTX Spark has the edge in bandwidth: LPDDR5X-9400 on a 256-bit bus, 300 GB/s, against GB10's LPDDR5X-8533 at 273 GB/s. That is about 10% more. It goes up to 128GB. ServeTheHome reports that 128GB systems reserve 62GB for the GPU by default and up to 96GB. That is a dedicated carveout, not a hard ceiling: NVIDIA's porting guide says CUDA allocations spill into shared memory once it fills, at some cost in speed.

The bigger difference is networking. None of the RTX Spark machines I checked has built-in ConnectX; the ASUS ProArt P14 laptop, for example, gives you three 40Gbps USB-C ports and Wi-Fi 7. GB10 boxes have ConnectX-7 with two QSFP ports at 200 Gbps each, and NVIDIA supports linking two to four units, two or three cabled directly and four through a switch (Cluster Assistant docs). I run two GX10s linked that way. That is how I ran DeepSeek V4.1 Flash with TP=2 across two Sparks, about 20% faster single-stream than Qwen3.8. A model too big for one box needs that link.

Taiwan prices for 128GB RTX Spark machines on 11-04:

  • Surface Laptop Ultra 128GB/1TB: NT$211,889 at PChome, the cheapest
  • ASUS ProArt P14 128GB/1TB: NT$249,999
  • ASUS ProArt P16 128GB/2TB: NT$269,999 (an open-box unit at Coolpc is NT$264,999)

The cheapest of those is NT$35,989 more than a GX10 1TB. The announced desktops are the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box (from US$5,999.99) and the ASUS ProArt GR1X mini PC, neither with a Taiwan price yet.

My call: RTX Spark has slightly more bandwidth, but without ConnectX to link machines it is probably worse than DGX Spark for running big models.

Check GB10 prices yourself on Coolpc, Feebee and the Wayback Machine

Three pages cover it:

  1. Coolpc's quote page: https://www.coolpc.com.tw/evaluate.php . It is one long page of parts. Press Ctrl+F and search for GB10.
  2. Feebee: https://feebee.com.tw/s/GB10/ . This covers the other stores, including Shopee mall listings, with no login.
  3. History: https://web.archive.org/web/2026*/coolpc.com.tw/evaluate.php . Open any snapshot and search for GB10 the same way.

If you would rather script it, the command is in the deep dive below. The page is Big5 encoded, so the command converts it to UTF-8 first.

When you see a price quoted somewhere, check its date against the table below. If you are buying, the setup steps are in my DGX Spark deployment guide.

All prices are NT$ at Coolpc, read from Wayback Machine snapshots of evaluate.php. "-" means the item was not on the page in that snapshot. GX10 1TB, MSI 1TB and Spark 4TB are Gen4 throughout. The GX10 4TB is Gen4 through 2026-03-25 and Gen5 from 04-16, at the same price; the MSI 4TB is Gen4 through 2026-01-07 and Gen5 from 02-17, NT$4,000 higher.

When each SKU jumped, by snapshot interval

Each step below happened somewhere between the two snapshot dates listed. For the GX10 1TB the intervals are the tightest the 25 snapshots allow; for the rest, they are read off the 15 rows above, so the real window may be narrower.

ASUS GX10 1TB, NT$97,900 to NT$175,900:

  • 99,900 between 2025-12-10 and 2026-01-07
  • 102,900 between 02-17 and 03-07
  • 125,900 between 04-16 and 04-28 (+23,000)
  • 175,900 between 06-12 and 07-08 (+50,000)
  • Flat since 07-08

ASUS GX10 4TB, NT$139,900 to NT$245,900:

  • First listed by 2026-01-07 at 139,900
  • 142,900 between 02-17 and 03-07
  • 159,900 between 04-16 and 04-28
  • 245,900 between 05-20 and 06-12 (+86,000, the largest single step in the table)

NVIDIA DGX Spark 4TB, NT$135,345 to NT$199,500:

  • 144,900 between 02-17 and 03-07
  • 164,850 between 03-07 and 03-25
  • 199,500 between 07-31 and 08-18 (the 07-31 snapshot, not in the table, still shows 164,850)

MSI EdgeXpert 1TB, NT$97,900 to NT$169,000:

  • 107,900 between 2025-11-01 and 12-10
  • 119,900 between 04-28 and 05-20
  • Missing from 06-12 through 08-18
  • 169,900 by 10-01
  • 169,000 by 10-10 (−900, the only drop among these five)

MSI EdgeXpert 4TB, NT$134,505 to NT$209,900:

  • 145,900 between 2025-11-01 and 12-10
  • 149,900 between 01-07 and 02-17
  • 157,900 between 04-28 and 05-20
  • Missing from 06-12
  • 209,900 by 07-08

Both ASUS models stepped up in the same April window, and the GX10 4TB took its big summer step one snapshot interval before the GX10 1TB did.

Why the history comes only from Coolpc

I tried to build the same history from other stores and hit a wall at each one:

  • PChome: the Wayback snapshots are JavaScript shells. The page frame is archived; the price never loads.
  • Shopee: requires login.
  • momo: search results don't render in an automated browser.
  • Feebee: current prices only, no per-item history.
  • BigGo: has a price-history chart, but it is drawn dynamically. All I could pull from it were undated labels like "price drop $2,000".

Coolpc's evaluate.php has every part and price in the HTML itself (the curl command below reads it without a browser), so the Wayback snapshots kept the prices. The cross-store comparison in the main section is current prices only.

The command that pulls today's GB10 prices from Coolpc

The page is Big5 (CP950), so convert it to UTF-8 before you grep.

curl -s https://www.coolpc.com.tw/evaluate.php -o coolpc.html
iconv -f CP950 -t UTF-8 coolpc.html | grep -o '[^>]*GB10[^<]*'

FAQ

How much does an ASUS Ascent GX10 cost in Taiwan?
At Coolpc on 2026-11-04 the GX10 with a Gen4 1TB SSD is NT$175,900 and the Gen5 4TB version is NT$245,900. PChome, momo, Yahoo, EcLife and Rainbow 3C all list the 1TB at the same price; for the 4TB, Yahoo and EcLife match and momo is NT$245,000. A year earlier, on 2025-11-01, the 1TB version was NT$97,900 at Coolpc.
How much have GB10 prices gone up in Taiwan?
From 2025-11-01 to 2026-11-04 at Coolpc: ASUS GX10 1TB +80% (NT$97,900 to NT$175,900), MSI EdgeXpert 1TB +73% (NT$97,900 to NT$169,000), MSI EdgeXpert 4TB +56% (NT$134,505 to NT$209,900) and NVIDIA DGX Spark 4TB +47% (NT$135,345 to NT$199,500). The GX10 4TB, first listed in January 2026 at NT$139,900, is up 76% to NT$245,900. Nothing that stayed listed has gone up since the August 18, 2026 snapshot.
What is the cheapest way to buy a GB10 box in Taiwan?
For 1TB, the GX10 from the iOPEN reseller at NT$166,900 (Feebee, 2026-11-01) or the MSI EdgeXpert 1TB at NT$169,000. For 4TB, the NVIDIA DGX Spark: NT$199,500 at Coolpc, NT$46,400 less than the ASUS GX10 4TB but with a Gen4 SSD instead of Gen5, and listed for NT$192,000 to NT$194,888 at Coupang and iOPEN. Feebee data can lag by hours to days, so confirm stock and warranty with smaller resellers first.
Should I wait for the 64GB DGX Spark?
Not at current pricing, in my opinion. In the US the 64GB version starts at $4,999, which is $1,000 more than the 128GB version cost at launch, for half the memory. It is sold only through partners (Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, MSI), with no Founders Edition, and Coolpc listed zero 64GB units on 2026-11-04.
Is RTX Spark better than DGX Spark for running local LLMs?
RTX Spark has about 10% more memory bandwidth (300 GB/s vs 273 GB/s), but the laptops have no built-in ConnectX, so you cannot link machines the way GB10 boxes link over 200 Gbps QSFP. My take: it's probably worse than DGX Spark for running big models. It also costs more in Taiwan: the cheapest 128GB RTX Spark laptop is NT$35,989 more than a GX10 1TB.
How do I check GB10 prices in Taiwan myself?
Open the Coolpc quote page at coolpc.com.tw/evaluate.php and search the page for GB10, check Feebee at feebee.com.tw/s/GB10/ for other stores including Shopee mall listings, and use the Wayback Machine on the Coolpc quote page for history. The Coolpc page is Big5 encoded, so pipe it through iconv -f CP950 before grepping.
